Structure of the web-based research

The structure of the website study will be as follows:

• Every day for 8 days, preferably near the end of the day, the participates will log in.

• There will always to be slider widget to rate that day's communication with their partner and an open ended text box for them to reflect on that rating.

• Each day there will be a single question and an open ended text box for them to reflect on and answer that question. I have written them to illicit storytelling responses as much as possible and tried to avoid questions that would prompt a yes/no short answer. Additionally, the questions probe at particular things that have emerged from the interviews I have been conducting.

• There will be a final (optional) field for them to include anything else they want to share. I am including this in case they have something interesting but don't feel like there is a good place to write it.

• Participants will be able to return to any previous day's question in case they have thought of something to add as the study progresses.
