Couples in long-distance relationships needed for research study

Hello.

I'm a graduate design student at Carnegie Mellon doing a thesis project on how couples communicate when living at a distance. I'm interested in learning how current technologies aid or hinder emotional connections between partners, with the goal of designing a new method of communication specifically for this context.

I'm looking for couples to participate in a 9 day research project later this month. It will require access to the Internet and is designed to be unobtrusive, self-directed, and require only 10-15 minutes a day. On person in the couple should living in Pittsburgh, with their partner living anywhere else in the world. Ideally both people would be able to participate.

Unfortunately I can't compensate you monetarily but if you're interested in directly contributing to a new form of communcation for long-distance couples then participation should be interesting and rewarding. There may be later opportunities to test the new design and potential for continued involvement in the process if desired.
