Overview
The work reported in this paper gets fairly close to what I am hoping to do for this project. They undergo an ethnographic study of how people communicate intimacy with each other and design some product concepts to explore how to mediate emotional communications. In their research they use cultural probes as a way of getting information they can not directly observe. Lots of good insights into the nature of intimate communication. They worked with cohabitated couples.
